No matter if a cosy, romantic evening for two, a discret and relaxing meeting with your buisness partner or a big festivity for up to 130 people – here you will find the fitting ambience for all you needs. We are looking forward to see you!

The most beautiful place of our house is – by far – our terrace … at least during the summer. The terrace gives you a beautiful view at the river Ruhr and the lovely green fields along the river.
Combining a wonderful surrounding with homemade cakes (using seasonal fruits), fresh baked waffles, all different kinds of coffee specialties (Latte Machiato, Capuccino, Café au Lait etc.) and various kinds of icecream, there is no wonder that in spite of spacious 250qm, the terrace sometimes gets crowded during the summer months.  The terrace opens daily from 12.00 a.m. – 11.00 p.m.



For your stay we provide 14 indiviually decorated hotelrooms, which will offer you all amenities you are expecting of a 3-star hotel (official DEHOGA classification). Some of the rooms give you a direct and beautiful view at the river Ruhr. All of the rooms are facing out either towards the green riverbanks along the river Ruhr, the park or our inner courtyard, so you will always have the best premises for a good night sleep.

All rooms are furnished with hand-painted rustic furniture, some have very special, original canopy. For families we provide a spacious 3-bed-room (with an additional bed for a small child).

„Wellenbad“ breakfast
For breakfast we are offering you homemade jam and juices (made from our own apple- and quincetrees , which are located on our grounds and have not been treated with any fertiliser for more than 90 years!), fresh baked rolls – even on Sundays - , fresh eggs by “Bauer Lemmes”, a local farmer and cold cut specialties by “Metzgerei Lewe”, a local butcher.



Hotel and restaurant „Wellenbad“ offers you various options to individually plan your festivity.
If wedding celebration, summer-night-party or a barbecue with family and friends at the riverbank – on almost 20.000qm land and more than 500qm restaurant and facilities we will always find the right place for you and your guests. We plan all details with you in advance – so later you will not have to worry about anything and you can fully enjoy your day.

Dining Rooms
In our house you can feel comfortable – no matter which room you are in. If “Jägerzimmer” (hunters room) or „Kaminzimmer“ (room with a fireplace), the special designed Ladies or Gentlemens chamber or simply our main restaurant – we will find you the right table and ambience for every occasion.
